Job Description
Animal Control Officers start at $22.56 / hour at the Grand County Animal Control and Shelter in Granby, Colorado. This position works 10-hour shifts, four days a week, Wednesday through Saturday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. during the Fall and Winter, and works 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. from the end of May to mid September. The schedule allows you to enjoy three days off each week to take part in all that the community has to offer. Animal Control Officers literally have the best office view of beautiful Grand County from their patrol truck windshields and have the ability to eloquently combine their passion for animals with their amazing customer service skills.
