POSITION SUMMARY:

The Server is responsible for delivering courteous, efficient service to guests while supporting front-of-house operations under the direction of the Unit Manager. This role involves food and beverage service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and complying with all Winter Park policies, as well as local, state, and federal health and liquor regulations.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Provide prompt, friendly, and professional service to guests
  • Prepare and maintain dining areas for service, including stocking and cleaning stations
  • Accurately take orders and deliver food and beverages following proper service sequence
  • Perform table maintenance, including bussing and resetting tables
  • Attend pre-shift meetings and stay informed of daily specials or events
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock levels in all assigned areas, including restrooms and condiment stations
  • Operate food service equipment as needed and assist with basic food prep
  • Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly and in compliance with tip reporting laws
  • Demonstrate solid menu knowledge, including food, liquor, beer, and wine offerings
  • Adhere to all appearance, attendance, and safety standards

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 18 years or older

 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • TIPS certification (may be obtained after employment)

Experience:

  • Two years FOH experience preferred

 

WAGE:

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resort’s hourly pay/salary range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resort’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
