Little Sprouts Learning Center is a non-profit organization located in beautiful Granby,

Colorado. We are searching for a qualified Executive Director to lead our team. This

position is full-time, year-round.

The Executive Director is responsible for the successful leadership, overall

management, and operations of the organization according to the strategic direction,

and policies set forth by the Board of Directors. The Executive Director is responsible

for policy implementation and effective management of Little Sprouts Learning Center

and all its programs. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall planning,

development, and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum. The Executive

Director represents the organization to the greater community to further partnerships,

advocacy objectives, programing initiative and community partnership goals.

The Executive Director is expected to:

 Manage and make decisions on the day-to-day operations for the organization.

 Recruits, hires, supervises, and develops competent employees.

 Ensure that the organization is operated in compliance with local, state, and best

practice requirements.

Schedule:

 10-hour shift

 Monday through Thursday

 Required once monthly board meetings and staff meetings.

 Additional hours may be required as needed.

Ability to commute/relocate:

 Granby, CO 80446: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting

work (Required)

Experience:

 Must be 18 years of age or older.

 Minimum 3-years’ verifiable work with children under the age of 6.

License/Certification:

One of the following requirements-

 Teaching license in early childhood education issued by the Colorado

Department of Education with an endorsement in early childhood education or

early childhood special education, OR

 Hold a current Level III PDIS credential, OR

 3-years’ verifiable work with children under the age of 6, in addition to (2) 3-

semester courses – courses must include Introduction to Early Childhood

Education or Guidance Strategies, OR

 Current certification as a Child Development Associate (CDA), OR

 An associate’s in child development or early childhood education.
