POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the Employee Housing Facilities Crew Member is to clean the employee housing properties and light maintenance responsibilities. S/he must present themselves in a cordial and orderly manner. S/he must follow all Winter Park policies and procedures, all applicable laws (federal, state, and local), and all health and sanitation codes.

 

WAGE:

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resorts hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resorts total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.

 

Hourly pay range: $21.00 – $24.00

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Clean all common areas of the lodge properties, Including, but not limited to; kitchen, shared bathrooms, dining area, living area, hallways, stairwells, laundry, and foyer.
  • Empty all trash and waste containers and take to dumpsters.
  • Deep clean lodges and vacant properties in the employee housing program. Including, but not limited to; floors, walls, windows, doors, furniture and fixtures.
  • Order cleaning and paper supplies and restock properties as needed.
  • Conduct stock inventory at properties and restock as needed.
  • Lift, move, deliver supplies to lodges including cleaning equipment, bedding, kitchenware, vacuums, microwaves, mattress protectors, shower curtains, furniture etc.
  • Conduct monthly inspections of units and partial move out inspections as needed. Submit completed forms to the employee housing office.
  • Snow removal and/or lawn services as seasonally assigned.
  • Inspect, identify and performs maintenance repairs and/or routine maintenance as necessary including recaulking, regrouting, garbage disposal repairs, light bulb replacements, snake drains, battery replacements, appliance servicing, painting etc.
  • Minor maintenance of all equipment including vacuums, power tools, snowblowers, mower/weed eater and other equipment as assigned.
  • Contact, coordinate, and meet contractors as requested by Employee Housing management team.
  • Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude while dealing with other employees.
  • Report any unsafe conditions observed in the employee housing properties.
  • Must be able to work additional hours, and respond to last minute schedule changes, as demands require.
  • Work schedule is 8 hours/day, 5 days/week.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education:

  • High School or GED [General Education Development – High School Equivalent]

Experience:

  • Cleaning / janitorial / facilities experience required
  • This position requires experience but not limited to:
    • Janitorial services
    • Home maintenance experience preferred

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be self-motivated and work effectively with other work groups and departments.
  • Knowledge Cleaning equipment, disinfectants, cleansers, pesticides
  • Knowledge in operating Hand tools, snow blower, plow.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Should have basic computer literacy.
