Pay range: $92,574.27 – $124,412.07 annual (hiring rate DOQE)
Position Duties:
This position is responsible for supervision and oversight of the EMS Education Department, clinical training, and field training for the Emergency Medical Services department.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED), and at least five years of experience in EMS, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A BS/BA in a related field is preferred. The following qualifications are required at the time of hire and as a condition of continued employment: Possession of a valid, State of Colorado driver’s license. State of Colorado and National Registry Paramedic certification or licensure. ACLS certification. Ability to pass a background check. ICS 100, 200, 700, 800.
The following qualifications are required to be obtained and maintained within 6 months of hire or at their earliest offering thereafter: Colorado Primary EMS Instructor (Primary, Skills, and Administrator), ACLS Instructor, PALS instructor, BLS Instructor, PHTLS or ITLS Instructor.
The following qualifications are preferred: Supervising Paramedic Officer (SPO) certification or higher from the National EMS Management Association, Level 2 Instructor Certification from the National Association of EMS Educators.
