Job Description
Performs a variety of maintenance work on the Town of Granby, its facilities, roadways, parks, equipment, and other Town assets. Essential Duties include:
• Participates in the manual labor associated with the operation, maintenance, repair, replacement, and construction of the roadways maintained by the Town.
• Operates multiple pieces of equipment as is needed to properly and efficiently perform required tasks/duties.
• Participates in the work associated with snow removal and street sweeping operations in town.
• Provides labor for the operation, maintenance, repair, replacement, and construction of the storm water drainage system.
• Maintenance/repair of public facilities, parks, ball fields, lawns, building exteriors, landscaped areas, trees/tree wells, flowerpots, and irrigation systems.
• Assists other departments within the Town to execute a variety of different tasks; varies depending on specific department needs.
