Job Description

Position Information:
Department: Natural Resources
Location: Multiple Sites within Grand County
Full Time, Temporary position (May- October, dates are flexible)
No Benefits
Pay range: $19.97- $30.21 per hour (hiring rate DOQE)
Position Duties:
This position is responsible for performing noxious weed control by applying herbicides in a safe, consistent manner that follows Division of Natural Resources (DNR) policies and Colorado State laws and regulations. This is a seasonal position.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or general education; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of a valid, State of Colorado driver’s license. Requirement exists at the time of hire and as a condition of continued employment. Must be able to operate a four-wheel drive pickup with heavy load. Must be 18 years old. Past or current CDA pesticide applicator license/certification is beneficial but not required. Experience in automotive and mechanical equipment service/maintenance is beneficial.
