Pay range: $67,659.49- 90,928.70 annual (hiring rate DOQE)
Position Duties:
This position is responsible for administering advanced life support care to sick and injured persons in pre-hospital settings.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED); and one (1) year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An Associate’s Degree in Emergency Medical Services is preferred. Possession of a valid, State of Colorado driver’s license. Requirement exists at the time of hire and as a condition of continued employment. Paramedic Certification, from National Registry of EMTs and Colorado Department of Health required. BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required. ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 required at time of hire. The employee is required to travel extensively with some trips to locations outside of the County that may require overnight stays. Approximately 4-6 in-state training sessions/meetings are attended per year.
