Camp Chief Ouray at YMCA of the Rockies is seeking a Ropes Director to lead our challenge course programming, staff, and facilities. This is a key leadership role on the camp admin team, supporting overnight camp operations while delivering safe, engaging, and mission-driven ropes experiences for campers and staff.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee all ropes and challenge course programming

• Supervise, train, and mentor ropes staff

• Ensure safety standards and compliance with ACA, YMCA, and Colorado licensing

• Maintain ropes facilities and equipment

• Collaborate with camp leadership and support overall camp operations

Who You Are

• 21+ with camp and supervisory experience

• Strong organizer and confident leader

• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

• Certified Level 1 or Level 2 Ropes Facilitator (ACCT-approved)

• Passionate about youth development and safety
