Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Bilingual Health Educator provides person-centered, culturally responsive reproductive health education and outreach in a rural public health setting. This role works closely with the clinical team to deliver bilingual contraceptive counseling, focusing on individuals who prefer to receive care in Spanish and those who may face barriers such as being uninsured, young, low-income, or living in a rural community.
This position also leads community outreach and education efforts to reduce disparities in access to contraceptive care and to increase engagement and utilization of services among Spanish-speaking populations and young people. This position is grant-funded for the first year (anticipated time frame: July 2026-July 2027) to expand hours and develop sustainable funding once impact is demonstrated.
